Northstar, Marvel’s first openly gay character, to marry beau in upcoming comic

Wedding bells will ring this summer for Marvel Comics’ first openly gay hero, super speedster Northstar.

The New York-based publisher said Tuesday that Canadian character Jean-Paul Beaubier will marry his beau, Kyle Jinadu, in the pages of Astonishing X-Men No. 51, due out June 20.

I hooked up my first programmable coffee machine last night and, I think, I went overboard this morning. I drank about 32 ounces of coffee before work cus I was soo excited (I get easily excited) and around 10 am I thought I was going to die in my cubicle by clamminess, chest explosion, or teeth grinding.

Turns out, it’s all the side effect from lowering my risk of death.

Yea!

Count Olaf and his theatre troupe. I was disguised as a commercial photographer to investigate these wicked people, pretending I was interested in their dreadful plays. From left to right: the volatile white-faced ladies, the dreadful bald man, the ridiculous and evil Count Olaf, the bloodthirsty hook-handed man, and Esmé Squalor, the city’s sixth most important financial advisor, as well as Count Olaf’s girlfriend.
